![]() Tekken Tag Tournament was notable for having the largest character roster in the series up to that point, boasting a total of 39 playable characters. The game received a sequel 12 years later, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, as well as a remastered for PlayStation 3 version entitled Tekken Tag Tournament HD. The game combines most characters found in both Tekken 3 and Tekken 2. It was ported to the PlayStation 2 home console in 2000 (released as a launch title outside Japan), though the PS2 version ran on an enhanced game engine with better graphics, which allowed the characters and stages to appear less angular and more detailed compared to how they used to look in the PS1 Tekken trilogy. Tekken Tag Tournament was first released on arcades in 1999. ![]() ![]() The game was originally available as an update kit for Tekken 3, running on the same System 12 arcade board. It is not canonical to the Tekken storyline. Iron Fist Tag Tournament) is the fourth installment in the Tekken fighting game series and a spin-off of the main series, focusing on tag team battles. Tekken Tag Tournament ( 鉄拳タッグトーナメント, Tekken Taggu Tōnamento ?, lit. Same stuff with other executable files of the game btw such. This way you can see the changes made by PSN liberator and there is also another key to "jump to the next difference" (F6) then in HxD editor open both files (EBOOT_original.ELF and EBOOT_mod.ELF) and use the option in the tabs at top named "Analisys"->data comparison->compareīy doing that the cursor will move to the first byte that differs. so you can "navigate" the matches in a easy way by pressing the same key repeatedly (if i remember right is key F3)Īnd you can decrypt also the EBOOT.BIN generated by PSN liberator tool. What you can do is to decryt the original EBOOT.BIN (into a ELF), and then search for the device paths in a hexeditor, in HxD there is a key to "jump to the next match". if you open it in a hexeditor it looks like garbageĪnd the only difference in between a EBOOT.BIN and a EBOOT.SELF is just the fileextension name (kind of thing you can change in windows by renaming the file) In encrypted format (either SELF or BIN) is not human readable. The process how are generated the EBOOT.BIN's is like this:ĮBOOT_source_code.c -(compile)-> EBOOT.ELF -(encrypt)-> EBOOT.SELF- (rename)-> EBOOT.BIN What i said about searching for paths inside the EBOOT.BIN is just a blindshoot and for curiosity sake, just incase you see something "human readable" that looks wrong it should be something more trickyĬlick to expand. And the dev_bdvd/PS3_GAME/LICDIR/LIC.DAT ? ![]() this ones are the games incompatibles with the "PSN liberator" toolĪnd this is all i know, mostly what im saying is a deduction, because i dont really know what is "breaking" that games, but i think is obvious the PSN liberator tool doesnt have problems with the signatures, so whatever is breaking them is not related with signatures. One of the reasons why the files are different is because have different signatures, PSN liberator deals with them wellīut additionally to the signatures there seems to be other differences, and PSN liberator cant deal with them (it fails when trying to convert them). There is many people that thinks they can "rebuild" the games from digital format (PKG) to other bluray formats because the files are identical, but are not is the same game, but there are some code lines where there is something that changes (it could be hardcoded paths, i dont really know) The point of what i was trying to explain before is the same game released as bluray (BLES*****, BLUS****, BLAS**** etc.) and released as digital PSN content (NP******* whatever) are made with different files, because was compiled at different times and the code inside the executabkle files (mostly the EBOOT.BIN) could be different Click to expand.Have you tryed to find other reports from other users when using PSN liberator to convert tekken HD ?Īs mentioned, there are some games that are not compatibles with that "PKG to ISO" (or "PKG to JB") conversions, maybe this game is one of them
